Ignitor/Starter for HPS light bulbs from 70 Watts to 1,000 Watts.
Often, it's not the whole ballast that is broken but only the starter.
You can test it if you pay attention to the "klick" when you start the lamp. If there is none, then you can be pretty sure that it is the starter that's broken
