The special feature of the Superoot Air-Pot® planting containers is the construction of its side walls. These are made of durable, recycled polyethylene and have an egg carton-like surface. This structure has a particularly beneficial effect on the health and growth of plant roots, because the uneven surface prevents the rotary root effect. Roots that grow in these cones, dry out due to the lower humidity at the tips and are "naturally cut off" in this way, which in turn leads to increased branching of the root system.
