Autopot AquaValve is an ingenious water router that works like a kind of valve and is considered the core of any AutoPot automatic watering systems. When it is connected to a suitable watertank, the water will run through the open valve. After the tray is filled with 2cm of water, the valve will shut down to stop the water flow till the water has been consumed by the plants. After that, the process will start over - the watering is thus managed by the necessities of your plants. Moreover, the AquaValve will work without any power supply and without an integrated pump, simply by using water pressure. Therefore, the tank should be placed at least 15cm above the level of the tray.
