A standard downstem often directs the smoke into the water through a single large opening. The result is loud bubbling and only moderate cooling. This is where our diffuser downstem comes in: instead of passing the smoke through in one large bubble, it is broken up into dozens of small pearls by numerous fine holes at the bottom. This massive increase in surface area ensures that the smoke is optimally cooled and filtered by the water. The result is a noticeably smoother, cooler, and more flavourful hit. Unlike slit diffusers, which also break up the smoke, the precise holes create an even finer percolation, resulting in a particularly smooth smoking experience.

How to Find the Perfect Length for Your Bong

The correct length is crucial for optimal performance. Measuring is simple: take a pencil or a thin rod and insert it through the carb hole or from the top through the joint of your bong. Measure from the top edge of the joint on your bong to the point where the downstem would be ideally submerged in water (about 2-3 cm from the bottom of the bong's base). The measured value in centimetres is the length you need.
