Easy to use oil extractor from Heisenberg. Use only outdoors and under complete exclusion of sparks and fire (do not smoke!!!).
ATTENTION: DANGER OF EXPLOSION!!!
- Use only outdoors. A well-ventilated room is NOT sufficient!
- Attention should be paid to suitable clothing (protective goggles, tight-fitting clothing and gloves)
- In addition to the extractor itself, two tubs (not made of plastic) of different sizes are needed.
Unscrew the cap with glass frit from the top of the extractor.
Fill the extractor completely so that no air holes are created.
Screw the cap with glass frit back on top of the extractor.
Fill a saucepan or tub with water at no more than max. 60°C.
Have a smaller tub (not plastic) that fits into the larger tub ready for the extractor to catch.
In the open air, away from sources of fire and sparks, hold the extrator with the large hole over the small tub with the glass frit, while placing the gas cylinder on top of the small hole. The glass frit acts as a filter and lid. Gloves should be worn because the extractor can get very cold from the gas.
First spray for approx. 30 sec., then wait approx. 15 sec. and continue spraying with the gas bottle until it is empty.
Important: The gas must not be inhaled!
Then wait until all the oil has collected in the small tub. The oil should be light-coloured and transparent.
Now the small collection tub with the oil can be placed in a water bath in the large tub with the hot water for approx. 30-45 min. As soon as the butane has completely escaped, the oil will stop bubbling.
Cooled down to approx. 21°C, the oil can now be safely carried into the house for use.
