Silencers, also known as pipe sound absorbers, are used to reduce ventilation systems, making the air flow noise of the ventilation system more quiet.
For optimum effectiveness, the silencer should be installed directly in front of or behind a fan or an angle in the tube. The damping performance can also be increased by installing two silencers behind each other.
