The nonwoven root mat by Nutriculture is a very useful accessory for hydroponic growing systems and all kinds of flower pots with drainage holes. On the one hand, it serves as a type of irrigation mat for storing a small amount of water or nutrient solution and thereby making it more available to the plants, and on the other hand as a filter material. Root mats can either be placed under the pots in tidal systems, so that small particles are filtered out of the earth, coconut subtrate or expanded clay before they clog the capillary system or you can put it directly into the flower pot on the drainage holes to serve the same purpose . Size: 20 x 750 cm, can be cut to size with scissors.
