Which bong head fits your bong?

Choosing the right bong head depends on several factors: Cut size, material and the type of head. To help you find the right head quickly, we have put together an overview for you:

Flood head or sieve head - which is better?

• Flood head: No sieve required, ash falls directly into the water. Often used when the whole head is pulled through at once.
• Sievehead: With sieve for cleaner smoking enjoyment. Ideal for larger heads and for smoking sessions with friends.

Do you use the lift-off technique?

Bong heads with handles are particularly practical if you use a bong without a kick hole and apply the Lift-Off principle.

With lift-off smoking, the bong head is used as a "kick hole replacement". Instead of letting the air in through a side kick hole, the head is simply lifted to draw the smoke quickly into the lungs

Thanks to the handle, you can lift the bong head easily and safely without it slipping off or getting hot and burning your fingers at the end.

What cut size do I need for my bong head?

The joint size determines whether your bong bowl fits on your bong. It indicates the diameter of the connection between the bowl and the Chillum. If the ground joint is too small or too large, the bowl will not fit properly or will not fit at all. There are four standard sizes:

• ✅ 12.5 mm ground joint - Small & rare: Mainly used for mini Bongs. Not widely used.
• ✅ 14.5 mm cut - The all-rounder: One of the most common sizes. Fits many standard bongs.
• ✅ 18.8 mm cut - Large amounts of smoke: Provides better draught & larger fill volume than 14.5 mm.
• ✅29.2 mm ground joint - For monster bongs: Extremely large ground joint size for huge bongs with massive draught.

🔹 **Tip:** If your bong bowl doesn't fit, there are bong adapters that allow you to connect different bowl sizes.

Glass bowl or metal bowl?

• Glass: Neutral flavour, elegant, but fragile.
• Metal: Robust & durable, but affects the flavour.

❓ What is the best way to clean my bong head?

Simply soak with bong cleaner or alcohol & rinse. A small brush or the Multi Tool for bong smokers will do the rest.
