Time and again, rumours arise that transparent papers are more harmful to health than normal papers. This cannot be conclusively assessed, as the effect depends very much on the contents and the person's smoking behaviour. But one thing can definitely be clarified: Transparent cigarette paper is not made of plastic, contains 0% petroleum, synthesised polymers or similar ingredients, it is simply made of cellulose, which is the equivalent of purified cellulose, i.e. cellulose - just like countless other Rolling Papers.Transparent cigarette paper - differences to normal rolling papers
Nevertheless, these papers, produced by aLeda or Glass, for example, differ from normal paper in a number of ways. For one thing, they are lime-free and do not contain any of the usual fillers that are supposed to make the burning properties of short papers in particular more similar to those of filter cigarettes. They also have no adhesive strip, as the entire leaf sticks when moistened. The crackly and somewhat sticky consistency makes them a little more difficult for some people to turn, especially if you have slightly damp hands, but with a little practice this should not be a problem. Alternative to cleaning paper for camera lenses
Who would have thought: Another special feature is that the paper is made from transparent cellophane without limescale. It is therefore also ideal for cleaning camera lenses and lenses in general and can be used as a cost-effective alternative to expensive special paper.
